Launch date
We're going to launch UCpro Games Portal even earlier... on 27th SEP 2008. You can expect a lot of classic features from Blueserver remade and enhanced for UCpro DotA Server. Also, We'll be conducting beta to stress test our our 3 gaming servers, UCpro DotA (Warcraft as well), Starcraft Broodwar and Counter-Strike 1.6. During stress test, we will collect and analyze bandwidth and servers resource to further tuning our servers configuration. Gaming Accounts that are created during the beta test period will not be kept and there will be no banning or whatever during this period.
However you don't have to worry about no banning because it will only last for 2 weeks. After the beta, everything good about Blueserver will be remade, improved and returning as with a new name, UCpro DotA.
We'll not be using the old database from Blueserver v3 due to some major changes in the system setups. Yet we will still providing a way for you to communicate with the old members from Blueserver so that you can inform them about your new nickname in UCpro. Yes... we know that your hands are getting very "itchy", we're also keen to play DotA will you guys again. Once again... stay with us... Thanks for supporting Blueserver over the passed 5 years.

Blueserver Back as UC-Pro
Sorry for the late update, there has been a lot going on. So here it goes.
Megablue will be taking part with Horngene in a joint venture to lead UC-Pro, an entirely new project. AMICI Sdn Bhd will be sponsoring the project entirely, and UC-Pro will be a branch of AMICI Sdn Bhd. Horngene, one of the AMICI Sdn Bhd's employees, will be leading the project, while Megablue will be the project-assistant and co-founder. UC-Pro will be the new Webportal Blueserver, while the actual Blueserver has been renamed to BS-Pro.
UC-Pro will be runned by 4 teams, each having their respective leaders. They are:
Technical Team (TT), lead by Megablue.
Server Team (ST), lead by Kaelz.
Forum Team (FT), lead by Zyphier.
Editorial Team (ET), lead by Sexbomb.
Currently, we have a lot in stored for the users, there will be a new forum up along with a lot of new content, along with new CounterStrike (BS-Pro CounterStrike) and Starcraft (BS-Pro Starcraft) servers. The registration will be using a new SMS verification system, which we're trying to implement for free. If there is a cost however, it will only be about RM0.30-RM0.50 which will be used to cover the service charge by the telco companies on this service. In addition to that, we've got some old programs making a reappearance (with some tweaks) such as SuperHost and the BProtect loader, along with new programs such as a new League/Ranking system for players and an automatic Forum Shop. All that, and plenty of events that we wanted to host before the server shut down, so expect to see some surprises and old favorites.
The launch date of the UC-Pro Web Portal is set to 29th September. The server launch dates are yet to be confirmed, but it should be shortly after the Web Portal launch (Within a week? Maybe less if we're lucky). Not all the new content will be available when we launch, it will most probably come in stages one by one. Don't worry though, you won't have to wait long.
Lastly, just a shout out to all the loyal users who have been behind us every step of the way (If anyone is counting, this Blueserver's fourth version, although now its UC-Pro). Thanks for all the support, and mark your calender for the 29th of September. So tell your friends, your family, your pets, your cybercafe kaki's, your defacto opposition party leaders, that we're back!

We're in the process of discussion with our potential sponsors. As what we always say... we have no plans to sell accounts and we're not going to do it in the future as well. To the beloved DotA community,
First of all. This is the for Blueserver temporarily site hosted at blogger.com in order to keep the beloved community informed. I'm Evert Chin (a.k.a megablue) the founder of Blueserver.
Sorry for the late announcement about what is going on. And Thanks for concerning and supporting for Blueserver.
Many of the Blueserver players might wondering why the server stopped its normal operations. Since SMM Sdn. Bhd. our primary sponsor had stopped paying the hosting service fee of RM1,500 per month for 3 months our hosting guy IP ServerOne had no choice but to pull the servers out from the rack. I guess SMM and our community have very different visions in the gaming industry. At here, we as the first DotA community in Malaysia deeply appreciate the grateful and generous help and support from SMM Sdn. Bhd. in the past. And also thanks for the netizens at chinese.cari.com.my for your cheerful comments and support.
There are plans for re-launching Blueserver. However our teams are still discussing to make it a better start. Please stay with us. Blueserver will be the place for real gamers to meet once again.
