We're in the process of discussion with our potential sponsors. As what we always say... we have no plans to sell accounts and we're not going to do it in the future as well. Blueserver should never sell accounts. Only open up registrations for the streamyx mail. Or else, people will only spam accounts and leave leave leave leave which I am very sick of when playing GG.

Registrations will definitely be opened, old accounts (suspended or otherwise) will be kept intact, as I had mentioned before in the temp forum.
As for what goes on in the meantime, all I know is just wait for the days to pass.

I have 1 IDEA ABOUT Account.When we have 1 email address from streamyx and our bs account kena permant ban for 3 ban point is that the way better OR cancel the permant ban?I HOPE BLUESERVER CAN CANCEL PERMANT BAN AND KEEP THE RULE STILL SAME BAN FOR 60DAYS if not kena permant ban then no more id liao leh --___--...Is that good for all ppl to play in blueserver if the account still can use??

now I play at garena (LAN Gaming host) where there is a lot of malaysian player.
but...
those ppl have no challenging at all and cant compare with Blueserver player where the real gamer meet !!

Many people claimed that Garena is so great bla bla bla...
I don't find it to be that good honestly. Lags & freaking jitters and all the delays and most of the hosters are really driving me crazy.
I never like GG Client in the first place. The server ain't that great. The high level rooms is never meant for us to enter even especially with our level so low.
We are not such mad gamers as these people. We are playing for fun and sportmanship but not till that kind of extend....
Anyway I'm already losing my touch in DOTA badly, just playing again to resharpen my skills. Really hope the old Blueserver will awakes. Although I'm no longer the admin but still support Blueserver and I hope the same mistakes in the administration team don't occur again.
Let the banning rules loose so that more players will come in rather than being too harsh. After all, all humans make mistakes including me and give them some chances to redeem themselves.

I have heard read some of the comments. I do believe that you have no intention to make us pay to play BS. There I see some of the good suggestion and some is my suggestion:-
1. Un-ban the permanently banned player. This is important to have more traffic and users. A longest Ban of 60 days is very good enough.
2. Contribution from the users to BS. This can be done by online banking or SMS. Try to talk to one of the SMS company, to get a dedicated number for BS, of which, (for example)when we sent RM1 and send to 33323 (BS number), it will charge us RM1.50, and BS will get the RM1. If you need help, I might be able to find you the company.
3. Do you have intention to instead host a server for us to play Dota, or host a GG-liked VPN? This is just a pure suggestion.
Shall I have more suggestion I will notify you. Do contact me with my email if you feel so.
I really miss Blueserver and hope that it'll be back soon...Garena is just terrible :(

Yeah,blueserver is a perfect server with perfect system, not like mydota server, with lousy management and they just use the basic type to setup the server,i mean mydota.org.

their server and forum registration is seperated, =.= so funny!!!!!

before bs server down, i got play garena and bs .. i just see my friends call me play which server.. but usually i play at bs because less leaver and less insulter compare to garena..even im not always play garena at that time.. why my garena id can raise to lvl 17?huh?? im not everyday play..everytime i play garena,i only play 2,3 matches..and some are incomplete game.now my level is 24..so?we all knew it, garena is many insulter and less education and they dun ever know wat BD means. does attacking enemy's creep before alias creep reach is calling that BD?does attacking 1st tower and 2nd tower are called that BD?? many people at garena is un-knowledge? dunno the meaning of bd and barking people was bding?? wow such amazing..

What's most important is to have a certain time limit for the registration and after that like what blueserver used to do, Close the registration section.
This will be enough to avoid leavers cause they cannot make multiple accounts and do not care about it.
However, it will be best if there is an ip detector during registration time to avoid more than 1 account being made by a user.
Selling accounts will occur unofficially among players and cyber cafes although you don't make them, but this is up to blueserver to judge :)

I hadn't been playing for awhile now, but it was quite a shock to find that the server in jeopardy upon my return to the WC3 world. Blueserver was a great server. Even though it had it's own flaws as well, so far I know not of a server that rivals it. I sincerely hope that the server would be back in action soon and if there is anything I can do, please contact me at angtor@gmail.com. My best wishes!
